Hi, want to know a little bit about me? I was born in the central Victorian town of Bendigo, but moved to Brisbane when I was 11. I started playing volleyball with my Dad in a social competition when I was 13. Soon after I was playing in the State and National Junior teams, and even had the honor of captaining the Australian Indoor Youth team on one of many overseas tours. I come to the beach soon after I graduated high school, and it has taken over my life! Now I am training towards my athletic dreams every day at the Queensland Academy of Sport. When its time for a break for training I’m studying for a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Queensland .
